About the Author
After studying history at Harvard and political science at the Sorbonne Nora McKeon joined the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, where she worked to open up the institution to the organizations of small-scale producers who are the front-line actors of food security yet marginalized in decision-making that affects them. She is now engaged in teaching, writing and advocacy on food issues, social movements and global governance.
